May 1 2000 - April 18 2026
A beautiful soul, forever loved, forever remembered.
Here are a few small things people loved about him.
"To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die."
Please share your photos and memories about Daniel.
Some souls don’t walk into a room — they light it.
That was you, Daniel.
Joyful to your own core, you carried laughter like sunlight in your pocket,
ready to spill it at the first sign of a heavy heart.
A beautiful soul, guarded and generous,
you made friendship feel like home.
You loved the game of football ⚽ — the roar, the rush, the teamwork, the banters
Win or lose, your spirit was the trophy we all took home.
On the field, on the couch, in every debate about who was greatest,
your passion was contagious. It pulled us all in.
You didn’t just enter rooms, Daniel. You ignited them.
Your voice, your grin, your energy — it turned ordinary moments into memories.
You brightened people the way morning brightens the sky:
quietly, completely, without asking for credit.
And though the match ended too soon ,
your light didn’t go out.
It lives in every story we’ll retell, every memories we shared together,
every cheer that feels a little louder,
every time we choose joy because you taught us how.
We remember you with love every day.
A beautiful soul, forever loved, forever remembered.
Rest easy, champion. Rest on , Lewan
The room is still brighter because you were here.
My fondest memories of Daniel was when I shared a hostel locker with him at NNSS. Thanks to him, I had an endless supply of detergent. He was kind, funny, and fair. He helped me fight off bullies. We used to make jokes and come up with silly songs. Even years after graduating, I rarely thought of school without him popping up in my mind. God bless you my bro✨🤍
Daniel was a vibe, there was never a dull moment with him, he knew how to make everyone around him happy and never feel left out, always smiling, always cracking jokes, composed the craziest hit songs back in secondary school, single handedly introduced a whole generation of Nigerian Navy students to Jon Bellion, supported Man United like he was the owner himself and he was a really good baller hence the nickname "Lewan".
You will be missed bro❤️🕊️
Rest in perfect peace🙏🏽
Daniel, it’s so sad that you are gone.
There was no where Daniel would be and you wouldn’t know Daniel was there.
You will forever be missed, the departmental group chat will feel empty without your input.
May your soul rest in perfect peace.
One thing that keeps coming to mind was how Daniel could relate to everyone, it didn’t matter what it was, music, tv, sports… Bro was funny, talented and still never made people feel out of place. Rest easy brother! Your memories won’t be forgotten!
